Aymeric Béguin had a brilliant idea. This music fan, who himself witnessed the disappearance of the physical medium (he worked successively at Warner and Universal) wondered for a long time how to solve this problem. For this, he was inspired by phygital, a concept currently very popular among marketing directors.
The word “phygital” is the contraction of “physical” and “digital”. This neologism designates a physical point of sale that includes the data and methods of the digital world. In other words, when you scan a flash code in a store to learn more about a product, you’re indulging in the simple joys of phygital. A bit like Monsieur Jourdain who wrote prose without knowing it, in short!
iiconi offers beautiful frames that take up the visuals and format of a vinyl album. The object is made of a good quality plastic, covered with a shiny resin of the most beautiful effect. Each series is printed in 1,000 numbered pieces. You can choose to hang it on the wall or place it on a piece of furniture using the removable foot provided.
A discreet NFC symbol is on the upper edge. In order to take advantage of it, it will be necessary to install the iiconi application, create an account, then scan it. You will then have the possibility to download one or more albums (without DRM, it is always appreciable) and other multimedia contents.
