Gigabyte unveils Aorus 17X laptop with 360Hz display

This time it’s Gigabyte’s turn to unveil a real powerhouse in terms of laptop with the Aorus 17X. With in particular the possibility of mounting an RTX 3080.

While not long ago we presented an overpowering Lenovo laptop, this time it’s the manufacturer Gigabyte’s turn to show the muscles with the Aorux 17X. Behind this name hides an impressive 17-inch Full HD screen with a pretty crazy refresh rate of 360 Hz. Yes, you read that right. Obviously at this level it is of very little use for the vast majority of players.

Gigabyte impresses

To take advantage of this extreme fluidity, the laptop PC can count on either an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or RTX 3080 graphics card with an Intel i9 12900HX 16-core processor and of course DDR5 memory support. Finally, two slots for M.2 NVMe SSDs are there.

It’s fine it’s very fine it can be eaten without hunger

For its measurements we will count 39.8 x 25.4 x 2.4 cm, for a weight of 2.7 kg. Its finesse is explained by a very particular screen at the bezel (This is the frame that separates the edge of the screen from the adjacent edge of the device that hosts it). To cool this pretty little world, Gigabyte has equipped everything with a WINDFORCE Infinity cooling system, with two high-velocity fans with 84 blades and 6 heat pipes.

With that, there is enough to stay cool. Finally, on the connectivity side, the Aorus 17X offers an Ethernet port, an HDMI 2.1 port, a mini DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a Thunderbolt port and a jack socket. The PC is Wi-fi 6 and bluetooth compatible so as not to spoil anything.

On the other hand, there is currently no release date or even pricing. But it is assumed that it will still be quite high.
