Gigi Hadid keeps her private life and especially daughter Khai out of the public eye as much as possible. Now she gives a rare insight into her everyday life with the two-year-old and reveals amazing things.
Gigi Hadid, 27, is not only a supermodel and entrepreneur, she is “Khai’s mom” first and foremost, according to her Instagram profile. The two-year-old, who comes from her former relationship with musician Zayn Malik, 30, keeps her famous mum busy and is obviously in charge.

“Whenever she wakes up, I wake up,” reveals Gigi in an interview with “WSJ” magazine. This is usually between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. She has a very “maternal morning routine,” she continues.
Then there is breakfast at Hadid’s house, where the little princess is also taken care of here. “I eat whatever Khai eats,” admits the 27-year-old, adding, “I make her pancakes and sausages every day.” Of course, these are not simple, round pancakes. “For Christmas she asked me what I wanted from Santa and I said I wanted a new pancake pan. I ordered this cool pancake pan – through Santa. Each little circular pancake is a different animal, so she can get lion pancakes or llama pancakes.”
Time for herself is important to Gigi Hadid
After a hearty breakfast, the mother-daughter team goes out into nature. “We walk a lot,” says Gigi Hadid. “We do yoga together. Picking her up and walking around all day and going to the park gets me moving.”
When the American does have time for herself, she likes to watch “True Crime” documentaries or take care of her body. “I try to go to the chiropractor and get recalibrated when I have time,” said the founder of the fashion label Guest in Residence. “My job can be very physical. Oh, I think a New Year’s resolution is that I get a massage more often.”
Gigi Hadid had an on-off relationship with Zayn Malik from 2015. In April 2020, the model announced her pregnancy on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon after rumors began to spread. The following September, little Khai saw the light of day. However, the couple’s love was not to last. The relationship ended with a molestation complaint from her mother Yolanda Hadid, 59. The Briton was sentenced by a Pennsylvania court to 360 days of probation and to participate in anger management and domestic violence programs.
