This Sunday, February 27, 2022, Gilles Lellouche was the guest of Audrey Crespo-Mara in Seven to eight. If the film Bac Nord, embodies the brigadier-chief Grégory Cerv, was a great success, the actor regrets that the latter is cited by the far right.
Since its theatrical release, the film North ferry is regularly cited by far-right candidates. Annoyed, it was in an interview with Audrey Crespo-Mara in Sept à Huit that Gilles Lellouche confided: “Already, the film does not roll at all for the police. Those who see the film see how they are cops who have been let go by their hierarchy. Then, what saddens me, what saddened me, obviously, is also the political recovery that has been made of it.“The person who embodies Chief Brigadier Grégory Cerv explained:”The film was released during an election period so we had Eric Zemmour, we had Marine Le Pen who imagined that this film could become an electoral argument. This already shows a little the level of the arguments…“
Wishing to make a point, the actor said: “Cinema is cinema. The film is a fiction. We show a city plagued by drug trafficking. We didn’t say, ‘Wait, look! All the cities of France are like that!’ Far from there.” To conclude, Gilles Lellouche explained: “It saddened me because in fact there is something in it that I find more serious, more painful, it’s that if we make social films, with a character that’s a little more open to the world, to what we’re going through, if all that has to be taken over by the far right or subject to controversy, then we’re left with what to do? Family comedies?“Last October, Cédric Jimenez, the director of the film, had complained to France Inter: “I don’t want ‘Bac Nord’ to serve their pseudo security campaign. Éric Zemmour takes the bad example, he interprets the film in a bad way. He has only that to say? It is absurd. This gentleman is not serious. They use this movie to say terrible things, which I more than disagree with.“

Go see him ! Become aware of this terrible reality and the urgency to regain control.“The next day, it was on the program Face à l’info that Eric Zemmour had analysed:”I saw the film Bac Nord which is impressive. First, the actors give an extraordinary performance and it’s terribly realistic. I understand why the left-wing press cut her cruppers, it’s hard for her to swallow this kind of film. But we can clearly see that the police have orders not to repress drug trafficking.“
