The US actress Gina Carano, who was fired for controversial social media posts on "The Mandalorian", gets her own film.
After Gina Carano (38) was fired from Disney and her artist agency separated from the US actress, the 38-year-old spoke up for the first time. Instead of apologizing for controversial social media posts, she announced to the industry magazine "Deadline" that she would produce her own film with the support of the conservative and also controversial website "The Daily Wire".
Carano will develop the film, act as a producer and also act herself. No details are known about the project. In the upcoming season of the "Star Wars" series "The Mandalorian", the 38-year-old will no longer be seen as Cara Dune. She had lost the role after sharing a TikTok post comparing the political situation in the US to the Nazi era, the magazine previously reported.
