Gina Carano had to find out about her expulsion from "The Mandalorian" on social media.

Gina Carano, 38, was fired from Disney last week after sharing several controversial posts on social media. The posts, "denigrating people because of their cultural and religious identity," are horrific and unacceptable, the entertainment giant justified its decision. Now the "The Mandalorian" star revealed in an interview that she did not find out personally about her expulsion.

"Like everyone else, I found out through social media that I had been released," Carano said in an interview with journalist Bari Weiss (36). Shortly before the second season of "The Mandalorian" should appear at the end of October 2020, Disney wanted to get them to apologize for their posts. She did not want to get involved because Disney gave her the wording in detail, the 38-year-old continued. After that, they were excluded from all press meetings. "That was the last time I heard about Disney," Carano explains.

Carano, who plays Cara Dune in the first two seasons of the series, compared the current political climate in the United States with the Nazi era in a TikTok video. She had also spoken out against wearing masks and shared theories about electoral fraud.
