Giovanni Zarrella did it: With his album “Ciao!” he climbed to first place in the German charts.
Giovanni Zarrella (43) can look forward to a special chart success: The singer lands with his new album “Ciao!” at the top of the German charts, determined by GfK Entertainment. 19 years after leading the ranking with Bro’Sis and “Never Forget (Where You Come From)”, he is now at the top as a solo artist for the first time.
Behind them is Taylor Swift (31) with her new album “Fearless” and Sunrise Avenue with her new album “Live With Wonderland Orchestra”. Nino de Angelo (57) took fourth place with “Blessed and Cursed”, while Jean-Michel Jarre (72) took fifth place with “Amazônia”.
These singles are at the top
Nathan Evans (26, “Wellerman”) cannot topple the singles charts with 17 newcomers either, the shanty star has now topped the top 100 for the eighth time. Behind them are Santos (28), Sido (40) & Samra (26) with “Empty hands” and Luciano (27) with “Kids From The Block” in second and third place. Lil Nas X (22) takes fourth place with “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”. Miksu (33), Macloud (32), Nimo (25) & Jamule (24) landed fifth with “Don’t ask me”. The rapper DMX (1970-2021), who died a few days ago, is posthumously honored with his most famous hit, “X Gon ‘Give It To Ya”, returning to 69th place.
