Girl suffocates – 13-year-olds killed: two suspects arrested

In the case of the 13-year-olds killed at the weekend, there now seems to have been a breakthrough. After the girl – the “Krone” reported – has been identified by her parents, more and more pieces of the puzzle can now be put together. This also applies to the crime scene. As it became known on Monday evening, two suspects have now been arrested. The two arrested are Afghan citizens, 16 and 18 years old.

The shocking bloody act should have occurred in the early Saturday morning hours in Vienna. The girl’s body was discovered around 7 a.m. on a grass verge on Viktor-Kaplan-Strasse in the 22nd district.

Eva (name changed) leaned lifeless against a tree, filed like a garbage bag. It took more than 24 hours to identify the victim – the parents only contacted the police in Tulln (Lower Austria) after a description of the victim had been published. After that it was a sad certainty.

13-year-old was brutally suffocated
The result of the autopsy finally showed that the 13-year-old had been suffocated under particularly brutal circumstances, and the body had severe bruises in the neck and chest area. And what was clear from the start: the location was not the scene of the crime, but rather the girl was probably murdered in a house or apartment.

Two Afghans arrested
It was finally announced on Monday evening that two men had been arrested on Monday evening. The two Afghan citizens are suspected of killing the girl. The police tracked down the men through testimony. The suspects are due to be questioned on Tuesday.
