Girls Aloud have another surprise in store before their reunion tour: The girl band has released “The Whole Damn Show Megamix”.

Girls Aloud are really taking off again. The reunion tour of the girl band, consisting of Cheryl Cole (40), Nadine Coyle (38), Nicola Roberts (38) and Kimberley Walsh (42), begins on Friday and Saturday (May 17th and 18th) with two first concerts in Dublin. This will be followed by over 25 further shows in Ireland and the UK. To mark the occasion, the musicians have now surprisingly released a new megamix of their greatest hits.

“We present ‘The Whole Damn Show Megamix’ – a mash-up of 27 iconic Girls Aloud hits and fan favorites,” the band announced on her official Instagram account. The mix is ”a non-stop party and the perfect way to get excited for ‘The Girls Aloud Show’ tour.” The album can already be streamed and will also be released on August 2nd as a limited 12″ ultraclear vinyl.

Sarah Harding can also be heard on the album

Both the tour and the new album are particularly touching due to the loss of Sarah Harding (1981-2021). The fifth Girls Aloud member died of breast cancer in 2021. On her Instagram account, Kimberley Walsh admitted to fans that the band’s comeback was “incredibly emotional.” Girls Aloud may end their tour performances with the song “I’ll Stand By You” and photos of the deceased in memory of Harding, according to reports.

Cole, Coyle, Roberts, Walsh and Harding emerged as winners of the British talent show “Popstars: The Rivals” in 2002. They then stormed the charts with hits like “Sound Of The Underground” and “The Promise”. In 2013 the singers fell out and the band broke up. The reunion tour that had already been planned for the 20th anniversary was put on hold for the time being after Sarah Harding became ill.
