Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady are rumored to be splitting up. But is that really true? In a recent interview, the model now talks about his feelings.

Gisele Bundchen, 42, finally talks about her current feelings. Rumors keep swirling that she and her husband Tom Brady, 45, are headed for a split. The former ‘Victoria’s Secret’ model is reportedly not comfortable with the football star making a comeback after announcing his retirement just a month ago. An exhausting back and forth that is not good for the family and especially the children.

Gisele Bundchen on Marriage Crisis: “Tom Must Be More Present at Home”

Now Tom Brady is back with his old team and is playing another season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As a result, the house blessing is said to be very crooked. “The two are having major marital problems due to his decision to come out of retirement. Gisele has always been the one who took care of the kids,” the insider told US publication People. But the catwalk star feels his husband “needs to be more present at home” as the kids get older. Together, Gisele and the athlete have son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9, for whom Brady should be there more in the future.

“Of course I have my doubts”

In a recent interview with the American “ELLE”, the supermodel opens up and speaks openly about the current situation. Gisele says of her husband’s comeback to sports: “Of course I have my concerns – it’s a violent sport and I have my children and I would like it to be more present,” said Bundchen about the world’s most famous quarterback. “I definitely kept having these conversations with him. But at the end of the day, I think everyone has to make a choice that works for them. They also have to be able to do what makes them happy.”

“These are the critical years”

Still, it’s difficult when the husband travels so much and may even miss seeing his children grow up. Another insider told “People” that the sportsman’s comeback was not good for the Brady Bundchen clan. “From a family point of view, these are the critical years. The children are getting older and Gisele thinks Tom should be at home.”

“I did my part”

Gisele further explained to “ELLE” that she had the feeling that she had fulfilled her duty. “I did my part and I’m there for Tom. I moved to Boston and focused on creating a beautiful and loving home for my children to grow up in and I supported him and his dreams.” Sounds like her own dreams fell by the wayside and she sacrificed herself for her husband.

It remains to be seen whether this is a healthy way of having an equal relationship at eye level. But Gisele is positive, at least in the interview. “Seeing my kids succeed and grow into the wonderful people they are and seeing Tom succeed and be fulfilled in his career – that makes me happy,” she said. “At this point in my life I feel like I did a good job at it.”

It sounds as if Gisele Bundchen has come to terms with the current situation – but she is obviously already looking forward to the day when Tom Brady will really give up his career.
