Rumors that Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady’s marriage has ended have persisted for months. Now the supermodel is said to have hired a divorce lawyer.
Gisele Bundchen, 42, and Tom Brady, 45, were married for 13 years, during which time they became parents of two children; Son Benjamin Rein is twelve, daughter Vivian Lake nine. The couple has been fighting for their marriage for months – apparently in vain. Gisele Bundchen seems to want to draw a final line.
Gisele Bundchen hires a divorce lawyer
As “People” wants to know exclusively, the model is said to have hired a divorce lawyer. Ex-husband Tom Brady is now “trying to figure out what to do,” a source told the US magazine. He is also looking for a lawyer.
Now it’s not just a matter of agreeing on custody of the children together, but also of dividing the assets. The NFL star and model currently own at least four properties: a home in Montana’s exclusive Yellowstone Resort, a $3.5 million condo in New York, a home in Costa Rica and a $17 million mansion that they bought in Miami’s posh Indian Creek Island neighborhood.
Gisele Bundchen didn’t like Tom Brady’s return to the NFL
The couple’s marriage is said to have suffered because the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback decided to return to the NFL just months after announcing his retirement from professional sports earlier this year. Bundchen is said to have disliked the way he handled his resignation. “She was so happy when he announced his retirement and wasn’t thrilled at all when he left,” a source said. “They are going through a difficult time but I know they are trying, or at least he is, to find a solution to make it work.”

The 42-year-old has not been seen at any of her husband’s four games since the start of the 2022 football season. “Coming back to Tampa after retiring has put his personal life to the test,” another source said. “Gisele is frustrated and fed up that his career is ahead of the family that has always supported him.”
It remains to be seen whether the two will fight a war of roses à la “Brangelina”. A person close to the professional athlete emphasizes: “No other husband gets six months off a year to devote himself entirely to the family.” In addition to his two children with Gisele Bundchen, Tom Brady is also raising his 15-year-old son, John Edward, aka Jack, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, 51.
