This is how you style the glamor waves

The nice thing about Glamor Waves: Even with just a few waves at the hairline, we already put the hair in the spotlight! However, if you want a little more opulence on your head, you can wear the waves throughout your hair.

Note: For glamor waves, the hair should be at least chin length.

What you need:

  • A hair styling tool that creates curls, e.g. B. Hair curlers (for a retro look) or curling iron or straightening iron (make sure that they are large in diameter)
  • brush
  • Hair clips
  • Heat protection
  • Hairspray (or shine spray)

At the Glamor Waves are not wild curls the goal, but gentle, elegant waves!

  • The damp hair is twisted in with curlers and then either left to air dry or dried with a hairdryer. Danger: Make sure that you twist the curlers on both sides of the parting in the opposite direction.
  • After blow-drying, let the hair cool down briefly and remove the curlers.
  • Then apply hairspray or shine spray and you're done!

Styling with a curling iron:

  • If you prefer styling with a curling iron, you should put on heat protection beforehand and then use a curling iron with a large diameter. tip: The hair should not be freshly washed (and especially not damp anymore) – if the hair was washed the day before, it is more handy!
  • Part it and comb your hair thoroughly. Now divide the hair into individual, wider strands and separate them with hair clips.
  • Twist the respective strand vertically and away from your face in the curling iron. Above all, the hair around the eyes and cheeks comes into its own with the Glamor Waves, as the front head is especially important for the look!
  • After twisting, let the hair cool down and then comb it with a coarse brush – this creates gentle, even waves.
  • Attach hair clips to the places where the hair forms waves and fix the glamor waves with hairspray! Remove hair clips and the hairstyle is in place!

tip: If you want to highlight a wave at the base of the forehead, you can easily tease it at the base. The hair receives additional volume at this point.
