The Association de la Chimie du Végétal (ACDV) represents industrial activities in the manufacture of ingredients, products and materials in which plants (biomass) replace or supplement fossil resources (oil, gas, coal). Renewable, low-carbon, efficient, innovative, plant-based solutions are an asset for an industry in full transition. The ACDV’s mission is to support, structure and accelerate the industrial development of plant-based chemistry and biosourced products as well as to promote the field, increase its notoriety and knowledge of its assets.
Bernard Chaud, Director of Industrial Strategy at Global Bioenergies, has just been elected President of ACDV. He succeeds François Monnet, whose mandate is about to expire.
