Glow: Filming for the final fourth season is suspended

The Netflix series "Glow" is canceled. The shooting of the final fourth season, which was suspended in March, will no longer be resumed.

Bad news for all fans of the Netflix series "Glow": The streaming provider canceled the series around the first female wrestling group in the 1980s with immediate effect. That means: There won't be a final fourth season either.

"Covid has killed real people. It's a national tragedy and that should be our focus. Covid also got our show to end. Netflix has decided to stop filming the last season of 'Glow'," it said a statement by the two series creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch to the US site "Deadline".

It would be a shame that the series would come to an end like this, but there are much worse things that are currently happening around the world. Filming was just two weeks old when the coronavirus pandemic hit the United States and work on the series was paused in mid-March.
