The GMX e-mail service is currently suffering from a problem, as several users report to Netzwelt. The login is particularly affected.
Around noon on Thursday, March 31, 2022, several users reported disruptions to the GMX email service. According to the reports, the disruptions are in various areas, but primarily it affects the login. There are also currently problems with Web.de and 1&1. The services are subject to the same provider.
At the time of this report, there is no statement from GMX. We’ll keep you posted as soon as there’s news. A short-term solution could be to use an email program such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird.
You can see whether the service is working properly again at any time by looking at our GMX fault indicator. A small tip at the end: If you only access your e-mails via the web version, you can also try to view them via the provider’s e-mail software. Sometimes you can avoid disruptions in the respective service.
