This Thursday the big “GNTM” final will take place on ProSieben. This is what the audience can expect in the big live show.

Heidi Klum (47) celebrates the grand finale of “Germany’s next top model” this Thursday. Four young models prevailed in 16 episodes and are now fighting for the title. What the audience can expect in the final live show in Berlin (May 27, 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben).

The finalists

Alex (23, Cologne), Dascha (21, Solingen), Romina (21, Cologne) and Soulin (20, Hamburg) fought their way through shootings, walks and castings. “Alex manages the balancing act between high fashion and commerce perfectly and you can see the joy and the fire for this job in the look of her eyes,” explains Klum in an interview with ProSieben. “Dasha really always comes to the set with a huge smile and has so much fun with this job that she infects everyone around her with her joy,” says the 47-year-old, appreciating her model with her curves and strong self-confidence.

With her 1.68 meters, red-haired Romina is so far the smallest model that Klum has ever taken to a final. The 21-year-old would make up for this small flaw with her model qualities and manner. “She is small and comes armed with her loving manner, her toned body and her seductive pout.” Soulin, the youngest member of the group, scores with her “extremely strong personality”. Klum also love her unique walk, her poses and her extraordinary look.

The show under corona conditions

For the first time in the season, Klum will make her decision on her own. There will be no guest juror by her side in the final. The walk of the “Top 20” also had to be canceled due to a positive corona test, the finalists are on their own. The safety of the girls and that of the team comes first, Klum said in a statement. Even if the finale can only be celebrated in a small group, “I am sure that it will be an unforgettable evening. And the audience will celebrate with us from home,” emphasizes the model mom. After a dancing show opening, the four title contenders show themselves to be superheroes in the first final walk.

The finalists receive visual support during the show: their families and friends are switched to the studio via TV screens. A retired candidate will keep her fingers crossed for them behind the scenes: Mareike will take over the backstage moderation in the “GNTM” final. She is also nominated for the Personality Award, for which fans have been able to vote online since the semifinals. The winner, who scored particularly well with her personality in the season, is traditionally chosen in the live final. Most recently, Tamara took home the award in 2020.

The guests

The musical act in the finale includes Tokio Hotel, with Klum’s husband Tom Kaulitz (31), and Vize, who contributed the season’s theme song with “White Lies”. In the final, they will perform their song “Behind Blue Eyes” for the first time and shoot the music video with the finalists. Hamburg’s shooting star Zoe Wees (19) will also appear. After her participation in “The Voice Kids” she celebrated success with her debut single “Control” and appeared on the US show “The Late Late Show with James Corden”. At the finale she sings her new hit “Girls Like Us”.

The price

Several prizes await the winner: She will be featured on the cover of the German “Harper’s Bazaar” and win an Opel Mokka and a prize of 100,000 euros. In addition, she receives a contract with the artist agency SAM. This ends the collaboration with Klum’s father Günther Klum (75) and his agency ONEeins Fab.
