This year’s “Germany’s next top model” winner does not receive a contract from Günther Klum’s agency “ONEeins Fab” – which changes as a result.

This year’s season of “Germany’s next top model” brought some innovations with it. The most surprising was that the winner of the 16th season will not get a contract with Günther Klums (75) model agency “ONEeins Fab” for the first time in 13 years. What changes for the winner and why Heidi Klum’s (47) father’s agency has often been criticized before:

No more “ONEeins Fab” – what is in store for the winner?

Since the fourth season of 2009, the winner and numerous candidates from “GNTM” have been looked after during and after the show by the model agency of “Heidi Klum Verwaltungs-GmbH” under the direction of Günther Klum. The company also manages numerous influencers. However, criticism of the agency has been loud in the past. Some former GNTM candidates felt that the agency did not act in their interests and did not advance them in the model business.

For example, Lovelyn Enebechi (24), winner of the eighth season, explained in an interview with “spot on news” in 2020: “Heidi Klum’s father’s agency [ist] rather a kind of management agency and not specialized in modeling. Accordingly, modeling jobs and travel tended to fall by the wayside and dealing with them was difficult for me because I wanted to be a model and not just appear on the red carpets of cinema premieres.

In addition, her jobs were sometimes not suggested or communicated by customers. The agency canceled it without asking you. “I don’t see this as a collaboration on an equal footing,” she added.

Vanessa Fuchs (25), who won the tenth season in 2015, had something similar to report. The cooperation with “ONEeins Fab” would have closed some doors for her in the model business, she said in an interview with “spot on news”: “The agency that came with a profit, [nahm] practically all options, “she admitted. Often times she would not have been booked by customers who” didn’t like to have anything to do with ‘GNTM’ or the people who were behind the agency “.

Who else does Heidi Klum’s father’s agency represent?

According to the agency’s website, only Toni Dreher-Adenuga (21), the winner of the 2018 season, is represented by “ONEeins Fab”. All other of the 15 winners of the casting show so far are now working with a different agency. Although last year’s winner Jacky Wruck (22) is noted in the model file of Günther Klum’s company, she has now “unilaterally ended” her cooperation with the company, as her lawyer announced in February.

Heidi Klum:

It is unclear why this year’s models will not receive a contract from “ONEeins Fab”. A “ProSieben” spokesman merely stated that the contract with the agency had “expired”.

The young models are now staying at this agency

The marketing of the show’s young models is now the responsibility of the artist agency “SAM Artists”, which belongs to the “ProSiebenSat.1” subsidiary “Seven. One Entertainment Group”. The agency already took over under the name “Face Your Brand!” together with the modeling agency IMG Models the marketing of the models in the first three seasons of the show.

The agency’s portfolio currently includes TV personalities such as Jochen Bendel (53), Johannes Haller (33) and Monica Ivancan (43) as well as ex- “GNTM” candidate Larissa Marolt (28). She left “ONEeins Fab” in June 2014 after taking part in the model show in 2009 and has since focused increasingly on her acting and TV career.
