“If someone tells us that we are too old for GNTM…”? Barbara and Lieselotte simply dance away the negative comments

Too old for GNTM? Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that! Candidate Lieselotte, 66, and comrade-in-arms Barbara, 68, are currently making history on “Germany’s Next Top Model”. Best ager models have never taken part in the casting show. The two and the 50-year-old Martina are already among the favourites. Barbara is particularly taken with star photographer Rankin, who definitely sees the pensioner in the finale. But not all viewers like the new direction of Heidi Klum’s show.

Some believe that the older generation seems to have no place in the entertainment format. And how do Barbara and Lieselotte react to such news? Quite simply: with humor. The 66-year-old shares a video on Instagram with the caption “If someone tells us that we are too old for #GNTM”. At first the two models look skeptical, but then wink at each other and simply dance the nasty comments aside. “You’re never too old for a little fun in life,” writes the lively Lieselotte on the social media post. She’s right! Your fans comment on the video with countless messages. “I think you’re great,” reads one comment. Another user says: “You two are such grenades. I think it’s so great that you’re here [sic].”

The next episode “Germany’s Next Top Model” will air on Thursday, February 24, from 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben.

The next GNTM Challenge demands everything from the models! Who catapults into the next week?

Hopefully the GNTM models won’t get any high in the next episode! As Heidi Klum, 48, already reveals on her Instagram channel, the “Germany’s Next Top Model” candidates are expecting an exciting video shoot. A daring stunt occurs. The young models are catapulted into the air from an ejection seat and pulled several meters into the air with the help of a cable pull. Strong nerves are required here.

In the fourth episode, Klum is supported by film director David Helmut, 35, who not only stages the daring stunt, but also tries it out himself. “Not the button … please don’t press the button!” Helmut asks the 48-year-old in the video. Heidi looks casually into the camera, which the videographer points at her. “What do you mean, David? Not this one?” Asks Klum and clumsily presses the catapult trigger. The director is thrown into the air with full force and records everything from his point of view. The 35-year-old seems to be having fun with it. It remains to be seen whether the GNTM candidates will feel the same way. However, one thing is certain: you definitely shouldn’t be afraid of heights here.
