GOALS, the competitor of FIFA, announces a first playtest

A little over a year ago, two football games were announced in quick succession. The first is GOALS, is developed by a former professional Counter-Strike player and particularly fond of football games, while the second is UFL, which has shown itself well in recent months, with gameplay, unlike the first. But it shouldn’t take long, since more important tests are launched.

In fact, in a publication on the official website, we can read that the teams are ready to welcome more players, in order to have constructive feedback to develop the experience. This will go through the “Arena”, a closed place in which the players have the simple objective of scoring the most points by trying to score goals. For two minutes, each time you shoot the ball, a cannon will send another cannon at you. To add a little challenge, targets are present at certain places of the goal.

Thanks to this Arena, developers will be able to get feedback on gameplay and other important points in view of the final release. This playtest, the first open to the public, is however not accessible to everyone. Only a few members of the community will have access to it at first, before seeing the number of accreditations increase over time, if everything goes perfectly. If you want to have a chance to participate, it is essential to join the GOALS Discord, which will also allow you to follow the activity of the football game, which is intended to be competitive and made for players.

GOALS has no release date, but is expected to come to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.

A competition is organized with our partner Instant Gamingwhich allows you to leave with the video game of your choiceof the fifa credits or some V-bucks.
