Being, most certainly, one of the most anticipated games of this year 2022, God of War Ragnarok should arrive in a few months, at the time of this writing. Its release being fixed at the beginning of November, the communication around the title intensifies lately.
Moreover, recently, PlayStation and Santa Monica Studio shared a new video, titled “Myths of Midgard”, concerning God of War Ragnarök. In reality, it is mainly centered on God of War, released in 2018, but allows players to prepare before the arrival of the second opus. Indeed, this visual communication brings a complete recap of the latest adventures of Kratos and Atreus, available in God of War. Be careful though, this video contains some spoilers.
As a reminder, the events narrated in God of War Ragnarök take place a few years after those of the opus God of War. During this new adventure, players will discover and explore all of the Nine Kingdoms, while Kratos and Atreus will seek allies to save the world from Ragnarök. This will be an opportunity to discover new characters and find familiar faces (Mimir, Freya, etc.). According to the latest information shared, Kratos will be the only playable character. Atreus will still be controlled by the AI.
God of War Ragnarök is due to arrive on November 9 on PlayStation consoles, namely PS4 and PS5. Several editions, including two collectors, are planned for this second opus.
