God of War Ragnarok gives us a big slap in the face in 8K, it’s sublime

Without being the ultimate slap in the face, God of War Ragnarok is one of the most beautiful games on the market and a new version of the game proves it again. Watch your eyes!

God of War Ragnarok is an epic conclusion to the Norse epic that began with GOW (2018). An ultra effective and tasty blockbuster which is available on PS5, PS4… and on PC since September 19, 2024. Moreover, it seems to shine brightly on this platform, and we should talk to you about it very soon. A few days after launch, players have already taken over the game to improve it further and it’s worth the detour.

God of War Ragnarok roars its power in 8K

Even if God of War Ragnarok closes a page in the history of the saga, the license should continue well. Several job offers seem to confirm the development of a new GOW game, in addition to a new license which would be led by Cory Barlog. Meanwhile, the latest adventure of Kratos and Atreus is therefore playable on PC, and as usual for big games, it has attracted modders including the Digital Dreams YouTube channel. After Red Dead Redemption 2 or Cyberpunk 2077 in 8K, God of War Ragnarok was given a graphics facelift on PC.

Once again, Digital Dreams uses a combo consisting of a Ryzen 9 7950x, an RTX 4090 and 32 GB of RAM to run the game at 8K with ray-tracing compatibility. In this configuration, God of War Ragnarök really shines, it’s simply sublime. And again, this is only the beginning of the title, and these are not the most beautiful moments of this adventure. If you’re planning to attack the nine realms, and you’re worried about your configuration, here are the PC specs for God of War Ragnarok. You will see if you are able to run it up to 4K 60fps in Ultra or not.
