According to a survey, going to the movies is the second activity that the French miss the most.

Are you already thinking of deconfinement? We are already thinking about it a lot. Some are already wondering what they will do as soon as containment is completed. The Vertigo Research group decided to do a little survey in order to find out what is most lacking in French in this period of confinement and therefore to know the activity that will resume all the more for the majority of them. The study was carried out on a sample of 1,000 people. And it seems that the first thing that most of us are going to do is go to the restaurtant, have a drink in a cafe. This represents 79.2% of those polled.

And, in second position, know that culture is what we miss the most. Who says Netflix and Disney + are taking over? 52.2% of respondents wish to go to a movie at the cinema after the health crisis. Just that ! It must be said that it has been a month since the cinemas of France have been closed and that none of us has been able to go and make a canvas. The pleasure of being in a large room, sharing a film with a loved one with a little popcorn to hand … What could be more pleasant? Many films have, therefore, had to postpone their release date or even suspend it, not yet knowing when the feature can be seen in dark rooms. Some, moreover, have decided to broadcast their films directly on VOD. This is the case of the film Strong, which was to be released on March 18 at the cinema. A few days ago, the star of the film Melha Bedia announced that the film will finally be available on Amazon Prime Video from April 15.

The confinement being extended beyond April 15, according to a statement from the Elysee to AFP, we will have to take our troubles a little more patiently. Especially since going to the movies is not the only outdoor activity to be missed by the people who participated in this survey. 49.3% of those surveyed lack free physical activity, followed by the 41.7% who want to party again. 30% of respondents wish to attend a live performance again. Finally, some want sport events to resume and they represent 14.9% of survey participants.
