Quentin Tarantino, Ana de Armas and many more stars will be presenting at the Golden Globe Awards.

In a few days the 80th Golden Globe Awards will take place. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has a number of first big names announced, who will be on stage at the event as so-called presenters. These often present the respective winner of a category with one of the awards.

The cult director Quentin Tarantino (59), the currently extremely popular actress Ana de Armas (34) and Hollywood star Jamie Lee Curtis (64) are supposed to be there. In addition to them, comedian and actor Tracy Morgan (54), multi-talent Billy Porter (53) and Natasha Lyonne (43), who is particularly known from the series “Orange Is the New Black”, will also appear.

Eddie Murphy receives a lifetime achievement award

Jerrod Carmichael (35) will lead through the evening. Eddie Murphy (61) is honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award, given for lifetime achievement by an actress or actor. Ryan Murphy (57) receives the TV counterpart, the Carol Burnett Award.

The Golden Globes ceremony will take place on January 10th and, in contrast to 2022, will also be shown on TV again. The television station NBC had refused to broadcast last year, responding to allegations of corruption and racism against the HFPA, among other things. The event begins on Wednesday night at around 2:00 a.m. German time.
