The nominees for the “Golden Hen” audience award have been announced. You can now vote for the stars in five categories.
The MDR has announced the 23 nominees for the “Golden Hen” audience award. Last year, due to the corona pandemic, it was only possible to vote in four categories, in 2021 the stars and productions will again be in the race in five categories: entertainment, drama, music, sport and climbers of the year.
For the “Golden Hen” in the entertainment sector, the shows “50 Years of Dalli Dalli”, “The Summit”, “Ask the Mouse”, “LOL: Last One Laughing” and “Who is stealing the show from me?” nominated. Martin Brambach (53), Petra Schmidt-Schaller (40), Claudia Michelsen (52), Bjarne Mädel (53) and Karoline Schuch (39) compete in the acting category.
The categories music, sport and climber of the year
In the music category, you can choose from Clueso (41), Zoe Wees (19), Wincent Weiss (28), Nathan Evans (26) and the No Angels. Ski jumpers Karl Geiger (28), Pius Paschke (31), Markus Eisenbichler (30) and Severin Freund (33) compete as a team for the audience award for the “Golden Hen” in the sport category. On the other hand, soccer coach Thomas Tuchel (47), bobsleigh driver Francesco Friedrich (31), luge rider Julia Taubitz (25) and the men’s national soccer team U21 have been nominated.
At the climber of the year, the audience can choose between actress Lea Drinda (20), FC Bayern kicker Jamal Musiala (18) and musician Leonie Burger alias Leony (24). From now until July 28th (midnight) viewers can vote for their favorites in the respective categories. The award ceremony will then be broadcast on September 17th by MDR from the Leipzig Congress Hall and again moderated by Kai Pflaume (54). If the pandemic allows, there will be a red carpet and a live audience again this time.
