(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission has cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the acquisition of Norgine Europe and its Dutch subsidiaries by Goldman Sachs Group.
The Norgine Group is a European pharmaceutical company specializing in the development, manufacture and marketing of pharmaceutical products.
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns, given the lack of overlap between the companies’ activities and the fact that they are not active in related markets.
