Goldorak: Feast of Wolves is ready for action in its launch trailer, but not its old-gen versions

The end of 2023 is busy in terms of releases from Microids, which has just launched back to back The Smurfs 2: The Prisoner of the Green Stone And Tintin Reporter – The Cigars of the Pharaoh, not without bugs for the latter. The next one on the list is also taken from a world-famous and appreciated license, Goldorak: Feast of Wolves. Well, he’s clearly not a winner (read our inglorious first impressions) and his video from last month suggested unconvincing dubbing in French. A few days before its launch, the publisher shares the launch trailer for this signed game Endroad.

Well, the VF still doesn’t manage to convince us and at times really feels like the text is simply read, a feeling not helped by the editing which strings together the names of attacks or actions… We are also entitled to a preview of what appears to be cut scenes with for example the invasion of Earth by the forces of Vega led by Hydargos (Blakki in Japanese) and various phases of play, including shooting style shoot ’em up and boss clashes in settings known to the public.

Taken from the famous Japanese license, itself adapted from the manga by Go Nagai UFO Robot Grendizer, this action game will offer nostalgic players of the license to experience the famous adventures of Actarus and his combat robot Grendizer. The opportunity to immerse yourself in a fascinating pop culture story where courage, fights and betrayals rage. The knight of new times intends to fight for humanity.

The cult animated series Goldorak has marked several generations with its story rich in twists and turns and has delighted millions of people around the world. Many people remember iconic weapons like the lightning fist or his asterohache against the terrible Grand War Strategist and his Golgoths.

If you are not convinced by this video or are waiting for feedback before checking out, please note that we will soon offer you a test of this Goldorak: Feast of Wolves on the site.
