Although classified as entry-level, this Kobo Clara HD does not disappoint despite the omnipresence of plastic. That’s not the important thing. What we will remember is its ease of use, the quality of the screen with ComfortLight technology and a fairly well-stocked online library. The Clara HD is simply perfect for those who want to get into digital reading.

The Nia incorporates a maximum of features that will appeal to beginners as well as old digital reader backpackers who do not wish to lock themselves into a proprietary format. And it is certainly this compatibility with open formats that makes this reader interesting compared to its direct competitor, the Kindle (2019) from Amazon, equipped with a similar screen and marketed at 79.99 €.
