The Pro (or G Pro), the only TKL model in Logitech’s catalog, refines its recipe with a second version which introduces the new GX Blue mechanical switches. Has the manufacturer found the perfect match to satisfy hardcore gamers?
Logitech signs with the G Pro a good TKL mechanical keyboard, robust and offering a very good typing experience thanks to the new GX switches. We are still a bit unsatisfied, because the manufacturer could have taken the opportunity to modernize its keyboard a little (connectors, keys, finishes). What’s more, the 2019 G Pro is only available in the GX Blue version, while the other two Red linear and Brown tactile switches are indeed marketed for the G Pro X.
Strong points
- Precise and pleasant hit.
- Robust and transportable design, tilt adjustment on two levels.
- Quality and highly configurable backlighting.
Weak points
- Only available in GX Blue clicky version.
- No evolution of the connector (still in micro-USB).
- Plastic coating sensitive to fingerprints and micro-scratches.
- Noisy strike, characteristic inherent in mechanical click switches.
- No palm rests, even as an option.

Alternatively
Despite a design that will not be unanimous, the Vigor GK50 Low Profile TKL is a good keyboard gaming mechanics with a very interesting price/quality ratio. It is thin, compact, and provides good typing quality. Some welcome accessories are delivered and its backlighting is adjustable key by key, but it will be necessary to make a cross on the dedicated multimedia keys. Please note that this model is clicky and will therefore not be suitable for lovers of discretion.
