Good deal – The “4-star” Samsung Galaxy A52 5G smartphone at €253.99 (-37%)

After the great success of the Galaxy A51 smartphone, Samsung offers an ambitious replacement. 5G, waterproof, 120 Hz screen… enough to offer a convincing mid-range on paper.

The Galaxy A52 5G is certainly a smartphone as attractive as it is frustrating. Its 120 Hz Oled screen is excellent, its performance and autonomy rival in quality, its finishes are a delight. Unfortunately, it stumbles on the photo pane with very average results. So much so that we advise you to turn to a more versatile Google Pixel 4a 5G.

Strong points

  • Quality finishes.
  • Perfectly calibrated screen.
  • Solid performance.
  • Very solid autonomy.
  • 5G.
  • Waterproof (IP67).

Weak points

  • Failed photo section.
  • Charges in 1 hour 30 minutes.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

The Edge 20 is a good representative of Motorola’s new ambitions. The smartphone stands out thanks to an excellent Oled screen, a powerful chip without being too energy-consuming, as well as a solid autonomy. Without achieving excellence in photography, it offers a triple sensor capable of adapting to a large number of situations. If the lack of IP certification or microSD port is not a major flaw for you, this Edge 20 could well become a serious choice in the mid-range market.
