Good deal – The Apple iPad Air 5 “5-star” touchscreen tablet at €673.90

Unchanged since the end of 2020, the Apple iPad Air is finally renewed. This fifth generation takes up a lot of the old one, with a change in size: like the iPad Pro, it now incorporates the M1 chip designed by the Apple brand.

When the iPad Air 4 came out, we wondered if the 11-inch iPad Pro still had a place in Apple’s catalog. This question arises even more this year with the 5th generation of iPad Air. The Apple M1 chip alone is a strong argument when choosing a high-end tablet. And by integrating it into the Air range, Apple strikes a blow. Unless you swear by the 120 Hz brought by the ProMotion technology on the iPad Pro, this iPad Air 5 is therefore an excellent choice, even more so if you do not need more than 64 GB of storage.

Weak points

  • Charging still just as slow.
  • Oled or mini-Led would have been welcome.

Despite its battery life that is a little too short compared to the competition, the Tab P11 Pro (Gen 2) remains a very good mid-range tablet. Thought out and structured around its accessories, it easily switches from a classic tablet to a PC, or even to a graphics tablet or a secondary screen thanks to Lenovo Freestyle. A more than complete product which should therefore be suitable for all uses.
