With its Access Steam Care, Calor attempts to combine the advantages of a steamer and an iron. The device is quick to use and is very efficient thanks to its three steam flow rates and its vertical ironing board. But, in wanting to offer the best of both worlds, the steamer loses its compactness. Less than a portable device, the Access Steam Care presents itself more as an effective alternative to the imposing steam generator.

With the 8000 GC800 Series, Philips has created a high-end garment steamer. The device has a heating plate and two steam flow rates; which gives it very good steaming performance. Its large tank offers great autonomy to this steamer, but we regret that it is not removable. It also loses in ergonomics due to a trigger that is impossible to lock and too few steam nozzles.
