Good deal – The Canon Maxify GX6050 “5 star” printer at €447.57

Aimed at professionals, the Canon Maxify GX6050 is an inkjet multifunction printer with ink tanks from the MegaTank range which targets a market dominated by laser printers.

The bet is successful for the Canon Maxify GX6050 – similar to the GX7050 tested on The Digitals. It meets the requirements for business use. Its printing speeds are high and have nothing to envy of those of a laser printer. Above all, its exceptionally low cost per page, specific to ink tank printers, allows it to better pass its price, which is significantly higher than that of a traditional inkjet printer, or an equivalent laser printer.

Like the Pixma G6050 and other printers in the range, the GM4050 benefits from many qualities. Besides its paltry cost per page, it turns out to be a good all-purpose printer. However, we will regret a control panel which is a blemish considering its high price. The investment in a GM4050 can nevertheless be quickly amortized compared to a conventional inkjet and its healthier economic model should appeal to those who are using their umpteenth cartridge printer.
