Good deal – The Dreame A1 “5 star” lawn mower at €1,799.00 (-10%)

Already well known for its robot vacuum cleaners, Dreame is tackling robotic mowers with the Dreame A1. It stands out for the use of LiDAR technology for precise and efficient navigation, eliminating cables or beacons.

Dreame makes a notable entry into the robot lawn mower market with the A1. Thanks to its advanced technologies, such as precise LiDAR navigation, and its ease of use with cable-free installation, it is an efficient and reliable model. Its mowing performance is honorable with a precise and uniform cut, without missed areas on the route. However, some software adjustments seem necessary to improve corner mowing and slope management. In addition, the robot’s thick wheels sometimes tend to damage fragile or wet lawns, especially when maneuvering. Overall, the Dreame A1 shines with its simplicity of installation and use, but does not forget the efficiency of mowing for an almost perfect lawn. You will simply have to remember to use the trimmer about once a week.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

The Sileno City 250 is identical to the Smart Sileno City 500 that we tested, except for connectivity. It is also electronically restricted, so that it can only mow up to 250 m² of lawn. Without a Wi-Fi connection box, it cannot be configured via an application either, but loses none of its qualities. Once configured correctly, this lack of connectivity is no longer really a problem and we can therefore completely forget about this very discreet and easy-to-maintain little mower. A good choice for small lawns. We will turn to the Sileno City 500 if the area to be mown exceeds 250 m².
