With its two integrated cameras, the Video Doorbell Dual from Eufy is particularly aimed at fans of home delivery. One is pointed at visitors, while the other films the doorstep and any parcels left there.

The Video Doorbell Dual is a bell packed with great features. It is also easy to install and configure and comes with a very practical base with its onboard memory and chime function. Too bad the image quality is not quite up to date.

Strong points

• Detection of people, prowlers and parcels.

• HomeBase 2 with memory and chime function.
• HomeBase wired or Wi-Fi connection.

Weak points

• Partly blurred daytime image.
• Inefficient package detection with bags.

With features that are as relevant as they are effective, but also free, the Nest Doorbell (battery) makes an excellent connected doorbell. The possibility of using it on battery or wired is another plus, as is that of transforming Nest speakers and screens (or integrating Google Assistant) into 2.0 chimes. Too bad, however, that in the absence of a microSD port you always have to pay to enjoy more than 3 hours of video history. As for the image quality, it remains a notch below that of the best models in our comparison.
