Good deal – The EZVIZ DB2 Pro “4-star” connected doorbell at €155.72 (-31%)

The DB2 Pro is a connected doorbell equipped with a 5 megapixel sensor. It also has the advantage of being delivered with a chime.

The DB2 Pro is an interesting doorbell. Delivered with a chime, it avoids having to keep your smartphone to be notified of the arrival of visitors, but allows you to answer even remotely with a smartphone. The audio quality is there, as is the image quality. However, the features offered are quite basic.

Strong points

  • 100% wireless installation.
  • Comes with a chime and two angled supports.
  • Local and cloud storage.
  • Image quality.
  • Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility.

Weak points

  • Chime volume a bit low.
  • No detection of vehicles and parcels.
  • Irrelevant vagrancy detection.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

With features that are as relevant as they are effective, but also free, the Nest Doorbell (battery) makes an excellent connected doorbell. The possibility of using it on battery or wired is another plus, as is that of transforming Nest speakers and screens (or integrating Google Assistant) into 2.0 chimes. Too bad, however, that in the absence of a microSD port you always have to pay to enjoy more than 3 hours of video history. As for the image quality, it remains a notch below that of the best models in our comparison.
