Good deal – The Gardena Sileno City 250 “4-star” lawn mower at €781.80 (-13%)

The City models in the Sileno range from Gardena are intended for small gardens. They are all based on the same base, differing only in their connectivity and the area they are capable of mowing: up to 250 m² for the Sileno City 250.

The Sileno City 250 is identical to the Smart Sileno City 500 that we tested, except for connectivity. It is also electronically restricted, so that it can only mow up to 250 m² of lawn. Without a Wi-Fi connection box, it cannot be configured via an application either, but loses none of its qualities. Once configured correctly, this lack of connectivity is no longer really a problem and we can therefore completely forget about this very discreet and easy-to-maintain little mower. A good choice for small lawns. We will turn to the Sileno City 500 if the area to be mown exceeds 250 m².

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

In keeping with the times, the Landroid M700 Plus (WR167E) robot mower from Worx intelligently integrates into the manufacturer’s ecosystem with its removable PowerShare battery, which can also be used to power compatible Worx tools. However, it is not just another tool in the range and comes with an attractive (although perfectible) edge mowing principle. We also praise its modularity which allows it to have a relatively low entry price, while offering options which can be particularly useful to owners of regularly cluttered lawns. Be careful, however, on a poorly maintained lawn, since its poor traction puts it in difficulty in pronounced hollows and tall grass.
