The efficient H-Free 700 is a stick vacuum cleaner whose Achilles heel is a battery life that is far too low for our taste. What’s more, you can’t remove the rotating grid filter to clean it easily, even though it tends to retain fine dust well. Fortunately, like its predecessors, it compensates for its weaknesses with flawless maneuverability and welcome little tricks, foremost among which is the ability to switch from fractional suction to continuous operation with a simple movement of the thumb.

Strong points

• Choice of fractional or continuous suction.
• Removable battery.
• Very manageable.
• Good filtration.
• Leds on the suction head.

Weak points

• Not very durable, even in normal mode.
• Impossible to disassemble the filter-grid for maintenance.
• Wall bracket without electrical connectors.

When it comes to pure efficiency, it’s very hard to fault the Bissell MultiReach Active Pet. Regardless of the type of floor on which it passes, dust and debris are very well eliminated, and this, in a completely bearable sound environment. In addition, its high-performance filtration system prevents the device from clogging up too quickly. But all is not perfect, and if we can pass additional features to absent subscribers, emptying the collector much less practical than on many other stick vacuum cleaners, and especially its lack of endurance prevent it from accessing at the highest steps of our comparison.
