The Hoover H-Free 700 HF722PTLG 011 stick vacuum cleaner goes under €150 at Electro Depot, a drop of around 27% on the usual price. It is currently one of our best value for money for small budgets.
Hoover’s range of H-Free stick vacuum cleaners has been enriched with a new benchmark, the H-Free 700. The innovative rotating grid filter with which it is equipped (HSpin-Core system) should, theoretically, improve filtration performance. A test was in order…

How the pricing table works
The efficient H-Free 700 is a stick vacuum cleaner whose Achilles heel is a battery life that is far too low for our taste. What’s more, you can’t remove the rotating grid filter to clean it easily, even though it tends to retain fine dust well. Fortunately, like its predecessors, it compensates for its weaknesses with flawless maneuverability and welcome little tricks, foremost among which is the ability to switch from fractional suction to continuous operation with a simple movement of the thumb.
Strong points
- Choice of fractional or continuous suction.
- Removable battery.
- Very manageable.
- Good filtration.
- Leds on the suction head.
Weak points
- Not very durable, even in normal mode.
- Impossible to disassemble the filter-grid for maintenance.
- Wall bracket without electrical connectors.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

How the pricing table works
When it comes to pure efficiency, it’s very hard to fault the Bissell MultiReach Active Pet. Regardless of the type of floor on which it passes, dust and debris are very well eliminated, and this, in a completely bearable sound environment. In addition, its high-performance filtration system prevents the device from clogging up too quickly. But all is not perfect, and if we can pass additional features to absent subscribers, emptying the collector much less practical than on many other stick vacuum cleaners, and especially its lack of endurance prevent it from accessing at the highest steps of our comparison.
