With its Smart Tank 7005, HP is targeting families and teleworkers in particular. It is a color multifunction printer with ink tanks allowing significant savings in use.
The HP Smart Tank 7005, similar to the Smart Tank 7305 tested on Digital, is fairly consistent and benefits from an exceptionally low cost per page, specific to ink tank printers. It will therefore be able to appeal to families, teleworkers and small businesses. Beware, however, of noise pollution, which is slightly higher than average.
Strong points
- Exceptionally low cost per page (0.7 cents).

- Large capacity paper cassette (250 sheets).
Weak points
- Rudimentary control panel.
- Long ignition time.
- Significant noise pollution.

The HP Envy Inspire 7921e is a good multifunction printer. Equipped with a touch screen, an automatic document feeder and a dedicated sheet tray in 10 x 15 cm format, it is versatile and offers good print speeds. We regret a high printing cost per page, as is often the case with cartridge printers, but the quality is there.
