The s9 + is the latest robot vacuum cleaner from the manufacturer iRobot, but also the most successful. Following the Roomba i7 and i7+, this new version gets a makeover and comes in the form of a “D” which differs from the roundness of its predecessors.
The Roomba s9+ is iRobot’s most successful robot vacuum cleaner to date. If it looks a lot like the Roomba i7+ with its famous automatic emptying system that we particularly like, this time it sports a “D” shape which allows it to run along the walls and to vacuum in the corners. Its application is always so simple and complete. It provides smart cards for room-specific cleaning. If this robot is complete, note that for around 500 € less, the Neato Botvac D7 is just as efficient and offers the same functionalities, except for the automatic emptying system.

The Roborock S7+ is a happy marriage that brings together the S7 and the Chinese manufacturer’s automatic dump station. This robot vacuum cleaner is formidable in every way. It has a very good navigation system, exemplary suction performance and a credible washing system – which is not common on hybrid robots. The Auto-Empty Dock with its double filtration system (with or without bag) is an advantage that also plays in favor of this complete and versatile device. Its weaknesses are nestled in its autonomy, too low to clean a large area at once, and in its noise level which is a little too high.
