The Lagrange Plancha Pro barbecue and plancha goes under €250 at Boulanger.com, a drop of around 22% on the price usually found. It is currently the best product in our comparison.
Of the two planchas present in the Lagrange catalogue, the Plancha Pro is obviously the most advanced with its full stainless steel coating and its integrated thermostat. We tested it.
Lagrange Plancha Pro
Introductory price 300 €
- Convenience of use
- Ease of maintenance
- Cooking
The Lagrange Plancha Pro is aptly named, and in this it risks discouraging kitchen neophytes with its stainless steel plate which is not always easy to tame, as well as to clean. It therefore takes a little mastery to appreciate all its qualities, which it does not lack elsewhere. The cooking surface heats evenly, the cooking temperature varies relatively little once reached and its design makes it very functional.
Strong points
- Stainless steel for grilling.
- Good heat distribution.
- Convenient gutter system.
- A real thermostat.
Weak points
- A little long to heat up.
- Cooking on stainless steel, not always easy.
- Tedious cleaning.

Riviera & Bar Plancha bi-zone QPL665
- Convenience of use
- Ease of maintenance
- Cooking
The Riviera & Bar QPL665 plancha blows hot and cold. Its design, finishes and two cooking zones are attractive. Its design is ingenious and it turns out to be rather simple to use. But the picture darkens slightly in the face of temperature differences and the slight lack of homogeneity of the device.
