The Motorola Moto Edge 20 Lite smartphone goes below €250 at Amazon, a drop of around 31% on the price usually seen. It is currently one of our best value for money for small budgets.
After testing (and approving) the Moto Edge 20 and Edge 20 Pro, it’s the Lite version’s turn to go through our labs. The opportunity to see if this more affordable model retains the same qualities as its big brothers.

How the pricing table works
The Motorola Moto Edge 20 Lite is a 5G smartphone that does its job well. We particularly appreciate its great autonomy, its multitasking capacities and the fluidity of its screen on a daily basis. On the other hand, it is limited for the game and sins a little on the photo segment. It will struggle to win against the fierce competition present in its price segment, often equipped with more efficient chips. But if you’re looking for a mid-range 5G device and endurance comes first, it might be for you.
Strong points
- Very good autonomy.
- Very nice screen once calibrated.
- Efficient multitasking SoC.
Weak points
- No waterproof certification.
- Not really made for playing.
- Takes a while to recharge.
- Fairly average photo section.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

How the pricing table works
The Edge 20 is a good representative of Motorola’s new ambitions. The smartphone stands out thanks to an excellent Oled screen, a powerful chip without being too energy-consuming, as well as a solid autonomy. Without achieving excellence in photography, it offers a triple sensor capable of adapting to a large number of situations. If the lack of IP certification or microSD port is not a major flaw for you, this Edge 20 could well become a serious choice in the mid-range market.
