Good deal – The Oppo Find X5 Pro smartphone “5 stars” at 757.19 € (-39%)

After a particularly successful Find X3 Pro, Oppo intends to continue its good momentum with the Find X5 Pro. This resolutely high-end smartphone is not lacking in assets.

Oppo’s Find X5 Pro is a very convincing successor to an already particularly successful Find X3 Pro. This smartphone does not show off in terms of photography, not playing the card of the number of megapixels, rather that of software processing. It succeeds and its ability to do well, even very well at both wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle, compensates for a slightly lower optical magnification than its direct competition. For the rest, the Find X5 Pro has a beautiful display, a power certainly not excessive, but sufficient, as well as a good autonomy (not to mention a very practical fast charge). With such a device, Oppo confirms that it deserves its place in the big leagues.

Strong points

  • Very nice OLED screen.
  • Very convincing ultra wide-angle.
  • Very very fast charging (charger provided).
  • Satisfactory autonomy.

Weak points

  • Power not so high.
  • 2x photo magnification only.
  • A little heavy, especially compared to the Find X3 Pro.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

The Pixel 7 Pro confirms the good copy made last year by the Pixel 6 Pro. The smartphone refines a formula that hits the mark: Google places a very bright Oled screen, a powerful Tensor G2 chip and photo equipment that makes it one of the most versatile terminals. Android 13 is entitled to particular refinements (transcription of voice messages, free VPN) which serve this successful hardware. We of course regret that the smartphone does not do better in terms of autonomy and fast charging, an area in which Google does not perform miracles, and this year again we can blame the terminal for its somewhat massive design. But these elements are not enough, in our opinion, to darken this very convincing picture.
