The Riviera & Bar QPL650 is a plancha offering two independent cooking zones and a total power of 2300 W, just like the QPL665 already tested. It is also sold for around €200.
Very close to the QPL665, the Riviera & Bar QPL650 adopts a slightly different design in terms of the handles. However, it also offers two independent cooking zones to cook food simultaneously at different temperatures. We would have liked to find a slightly more even heating, but the Riviera & Bar plancha has the merit of limiting temperature variations. With its non-stick coating and its juice collection tray to extract like a drawer, it is also easy to use.
Strong points

- Cooking surface (too bulky for the dishwasher).

The EPL 2 Delicia plancha from Essentiel B is a nice surprise that combines versatility and ease of use. With its reversible cooking tray, it allows you to optimize cooking depending on the food. Easy to maintain, it stabilizes the temperature quite well. Despite some weaknesses common to most planchas (power cable too short and inconsistent homogeneity), it constitutes a very good entry-level model.
