Good deal – The Sauter SPI4360W “5-star” induction hob at €409.99 (-25%)

If the Sauter SPI4360B is black, it also exists in white with a larger control panel under the reference SPI4360W. Otherwise, these two products are completely identical.

Apart from poor management of low temperatures, the SPI4360W has proven itself, just like the Sauter SPI4360B. Indeed, it offers a nice rapid rise in temperature and its total power is sufficient to engage all the inductors at the highest level. Finally, it is easy to use.

Strong points

  • Excellent temperature homogeneity (on the large hearth).
  • Rapid rise in temperature.
  • Two pre-programmable powers.
  • Sufficient power to drive all inductors to the highest level.

Weak points

  • Badly managed low temperatures.
  • Tempo function which we can do without.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

The Sauter SPI4664B induction hob is an excellent alternative for getting started with this cooking method. It is very easy to handle while offering options that are certainly few, but sufficient for daily use. However, we regret that the temperature is too high after a long cooking time at the lowest power level.
