The Move 2 is a portable speaker from Sonos. It succeeds the first Move by promising sound improvements, some aesthetic refreshes, but above all much greater autonomy.

Still just as connected, robust and easy to use, the Move 2 stands out from its predecessor with almost doubled battery life and the possibility of connecting a wired device, unfortunately for a fee. These significant improvements allow it to rise to the top of the basket by being one of the most versatile portable speakers on the market. However, we regret that the sound improvements made are too minimal.
Strong points
- Rich and warm sound reproduction.
- Deep and controlled bass.

- Anecdotal stereo scene.
- Mini-jack adapter not included.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

Behind its rough appearance, the Hyperboom is a much more subtle speaker than it appears. It not only offers deep bass and a very good size/power ratio, but also a well-balanced sound reproduction. This is a first choice model for those looking for a powerful, efficient speaker that is easy to use and easier to transport than a “party” speaker like the JBL PartyBox 300.
Although the Hyperboom is positioned as a pure Bluetooth speaker, the most tech-savvy might still regret the lack of Wi-Fi connectivity, which effectively blocks access to any connected functionality. We then advise them to turn to a smaller and logically less powerful connected speaker, such as the Sonos Move, the Libratone Zipp 2 or the Bose Portable Home Speaker.
