The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE smartphone goes below €200 at Carrefour, a drop of around 30% on the price usually seen. It is currently one of our best value for money for small budgets.
After the Mi 11 Lite 5G launched in spring 2021, Xiaomi refreshes the most affordable of its 5G-enabled 11-series devices with an 11 Lite 5G NE (for new-edition). A smartphone identical to its predecessor in appearance, but which stands out for the use of a Snapdragon 778G chip.

Identical to the Mi 11 Lite 5G in appearance, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (new edition) improves on its elder by small touches. Its screen thus gains in brightness, its photo block is slightly more efficient and it retains excellent performance in relation to its price thanks to the Snapdragon 778G chip. Too bad it does less well than its predecessor in terms of autonomy.
Strong points
- Convincing screen once calibrated.
- Satisfactory performance.
- Neat design.
- Good quality daytime photos.
Weak points
- Less enduring than the Mi 11 Lite 5G.
- Disappointing ultra-wide-angle photos.

Even if it is strongly inspired by the Xiaomi 11T Pro, this 11T manages to make a strength of its main difference, while being more affordable. It still offers a good finish and a high-quality screen, but logically offers less raw power than its brother under Snapdragon 888. This drop in speed still has an advantage: it allows it to be much more enduring, which may be more important for a majority of users. It certainly recharges a little slower than the Pro, but the difference remains negligible on a daily basis. The icing on the cake, the software processing of the photos seems less supported and delivers a more faithful result during the day. A very good model in its price range.
