Good deal – The Xiaomi 11T 128 GB “4-star” smartphone at €159.00 (-45%)

With the Xiaomi 11T Pro and 11T, the Chinese manufacturer is once again trying to establish itself by offering a high-end technical sheet at an affordable price. After its Pro variant, which is less efficient to say the least, it’s the turn of the 11T to go through our labs.

Even if it is strongly inspired by the Xiaomi 11T Pro, this 11T manages to make its main difference a strength, while being more affordable. It still offers a good finish and a high-quality screen, but logically offers less raw power than its brother under Snapdragon 888. This reduction in speed still has an advantage: it allows it to be much more durable, which may be more important for a majority of users. It certainly recharges a little slower than the Pro, but the difference remains negligible on a daily basis. The icing on the cake is that the software processing of photos seems less intensive and delivers a more faithful result during the day. A very good model in its price range.

Strong points

  • High quality Oled panel.
  • Chip efficient in multitasking and gaming.
  • Well-made wide-angle module.
  • Very good autonomy.
  • Fast charging at 67W.

Weak points

  • Messy back.
  • No microSD port.
  • Disappointing ultra wide-angle module.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

After a lackluster Note 10 series, Xiaomi is back with this Redmi Note 11. The entry-level smartphone from the Chinese firm is a good proposition for those who need a terminal that can do everything, without necessarily excelling. Without performing any miracles, this model corrects a passable photo component in its predecessor and offers a good Oled panel. Finally, its autonomy is very correct at 60 Hz or 90 Hz.
