Good deal – The Xiaomi Mi Smart Air Fryer 3.5L “4 stars” oil-free fryer at € 81.99

Xiaomi’s first oil-free fryer, the Mi Air Fryer plays the connectivity card with wifi and remote control without too much surprise, while posing as an affordable alternative to models from specialists in the sector such as Philips or Seb.

One of the few oil-free fryers to have a screen, Xiaomi’s Mi Smart Air Fryer takes the opportunity to adopt a sleek design while offering a simple and intuitive interface. Added to this is a mobile application allowing not only to find recipe ideas, but also to follow the progress of cooking remotely thanks to wifi. Too bad that the requested temperatures are not very well respected. Even more than with other models, it will therefore be necessary to expect a few failed attempts before arriving – more or less – at the expected results.

Without much pretension, the Essential Airfryer Compact HD9252 nevertheless has the merit of doing what is asked of it. Its cooking performance is satisfactory on the whole and the dispensation of preheating saves considerable time compared to an oven. It’s a pity that its control panel has not been better thought out, and that its basket is still not a little larger given the size of the device.
