Good deal – The Xiaomi Mi Watch Beige connected watch at €89.00 (-22%)

After the Mi Watch Lite, it is the Xiaomi Mi Watch that invites itself into our columns. With its circular format, its advanced functions and its reasonable price, it targets a wide audience.

The Xiaomi Mi Watch is a good connected watch, suitable for moderate sports practice thanks to its integrated GPS. It benefits from a circular format, but is actually more imposing than the Lite version tested previously. This format gives it the advantage of giving the illusion of a “real” watch, although its plastic design quickly reminds it of its status as a tech product without any real charm. Its minimalist interface is practical to handle on a daily basis. It is helped by the two physical buttons and a comfortable AMOLED screen. Finally, its autonomy of a fortnight is clearly its best asset.

Strong points

  • Relevant heart rate monitor.
  • Built-in GPS.
  • Circular format that facilitates use.
  • Enormous autonomy.

Weak points

  • Format still quite imposing (and all plastic).
  • A screen protector would not have been superfluous.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

Simple and pleasant to use, the Huawei Watch Fit 2 offers good general performance. Without excelling in one area in particular, it turns out to be homogeneous and even quite capable when it comes to practicing sporting activities – if extreme precision is not expected of it. Too bad its software ecosystem is not more complete.
