The Buds 3T Pro are the first earphones from Xiaomi to place themselves in the high-end segment and to support 3D audio formats. For a first, the Chinese brand has taken care of its entry, notably with a controlled sound signature.

With these Buds 3T Pro, Xiaomi signs headphones that are surprising in many ways. First of all, they offer a hitherto unprecedented sound quality on the brand’s products, but are also strong in very good wearing comfort. However, there are still some efforts to be made in terms of audio rendering and active noise reduction performance to titillate the market leaders. It is also unfortunate that the majority of features are reserved for the most recent Xiaomi terminals.
Strong points
- Precise and rather well controlled sound signature.
- Very good feelings of comfort.
- Excellent suppression of surrounding noise from the hands-free kit.
- Effective automatic wind noise reduction…
Weak points
- Far too shy bass, sound reproduction a little too focused on high-mids/treble.
- Many features reserved for certain Xiaomi terminals.
- …but not disengageable.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

Despite their ergonomic qualities, the JBL Tune 230NC TWS have not gone far from correctional because of their unbalanced and, to say the least, trying sound signature they offer out of the box. The equalizer present in the application saves the day and allows you to benefit from a sound experience with still some flaws, but much more pleasant, natural and generally satisfactory. JBL’s headphones are thus positioned as a pair of headphones true-wireless very honest, which must still face fierce competition and sometimes significantly more interesting in terms of quality / price.
